Wet-look hair, coloured lashes and gigantic brows - but can you wear any of it down to Tesco?

The look: Fresh, clean-looking skin, soft blown-out hair, groomed brows and a slick of gloss

Wearability: 10/10

Breakdown: This is 'no makeup makeup' done right, i.e. there's an absolute shedload of product involved, but the models look fresh-faced and effortless as goddamn Disney princesses. If you're attempting this at home, don't forget to add the barest whisper of blush and a single coat of mascara to take the look from 'I just woke up' to 'I woke up like this'.

The look: Fluffy ponytail with a middle part, strong brows, fresh skin

Wearability: 8/10

Breakdown: The wearability of this look honestly depends on how you suit a low pony with a middle part - especially considering the lack of mascara involved. If, like me, it gives you a distinctly Wednesday Addams vibe, then you might want to change up the hairstyle a bit. Despite that, the strong brow and natural-looking skin is still a beauty fave for 2016.

3. Topshop Unique

The look: According to Topshop, 'Princess Margaret meets Courtney Love'. This translates to undone hair, a matte red lip and smudgy kohl.

Wearability: 7/10

Breakdown: Let's be honest, you have definitely looked like this at the end of a night out - or partway through, depending on how hard you've been dancing/how crap the weather is. This isn't a look for just popping into Costa for a panini, but the cool lips/eyes combo is definitely something you could wear to a bar and not feel like a tit in.

The look: Poker straight hair with a deep side part, cobalt liner

Wearability: 7/10

Breakdown: I don't know about you, but this is pretty much exactly how my hair looked when I first started using a hair straightener, right down to the overenthusiastic application of Frizz Ease. Lay off the GHDs, but keep the gorgeous pop of blue liner - it looks awesome on pretty much everyone.

5. Anya Hindmarch

The look: Slicked back hair, porcelain skin, precise red lip

Wearability: 6.5/10

Breakdown: This inexplicable Hitler Youth hair is always appearing on the catwalk, and it's what makes this look difficult. Keep the pony neat, but lose the hairgel and loosen the parting up a little - it'll make the whole thing more wearable whilst still looking chic.

6. Mary Katrantzou

The look: Sticky, spidery doll lashes in baby blue, navy and burgundy.

Wearability: 6/10

Breakdown: Okay, bear with me on this. Once you tweak the lashes to make them slightly less blobby and apply mascara to the entire top and bottom lashline, this 'broken doll' look created by makeup artist Lucia Pieroni becomes significantly more wearable. Keep the perfected skin and pop a bit of dry shampoo in the hair and you're sorted.

The look: False lashes flattened with straighteners, loose hair

Wearability: 5.5/10

Breakdown:This look would have rated higher, but loses points for two reasons; one, I'm distracted by the Cyborg Richie Tenenbaum headbands, and two, you just know that long, super straight lashes are going to be an absolute ballache to apply. However, the effect is definitely cool and guaranteed to give you striking lashes - if you can keep your eyes open.

8. Roksanda Ilincic

The look: Softly crimped hair, washes of green-grey shadow

Wearability: 5/10

Breakdown: Depending on which model you're looking at, this look is either floaty boho prettiness that's perfect for this season's 70s trend, or it's an awkward unflattering mess. If you don't happen to look exactly like this model, then approach with caution, but texturised hair and diffused shadow can look seriously cool if done right.

9. Burberry

The look: Oxblood lips, wet-look hair, soft brown eyeshadow

Wearability: 4.5/10

Breakdown: The dark lips and glowing skin are amazing, but combined with LFW's ubiquitous wet-look hair and lack of mascara, they're difficult to pull off for mere mortals. Leave out the brown shadow unless you want to look ill.

10. Holly Fulton

The look: Long, straight hair, glossy green or orange lids

Wearability: 4/10

Breakdown: Colours like green and orange can look incredible on dark skintones, but on us paler girls they tend to look insipid, especially without a hell of a lot of eyeliner and mascara. Plus, glossy lids only work on catwalks - they're likely to end up imprinted on your brow bone IRL.

The look: Rainbow craftstore unicorn awesomeness

Wearability: 3/10 (or 10/10 at festivals)

Breakdown: This is hands down my favourite look of LFW. The standard go-to for catwalk models tends toward fresh corpse, so seeing how cheerful these girls looked sprinkled with bubblegum sequins fills my cold, cynical heart with joy. You still have time to raid your local Hobbycraft before Bestival - get on it.

The look: Wet-look hair, massive brows, cable ties (?)

Wearability: 2/10

Breakdown: Bringing new meaning to the phrase 'choking hazard', hairstylist Guido Palau at least wins creativity points for cobbling together an avant-garde look with something most of us could find in our dad's garage.

The look: Insane sweaty hair, Imperator Furiosa-style eye makeup

Wearability: 1/10

Breakdown: This look is ideal if you need a last-minute Halloween costume but cba to shave your head for the full Mad Max effect. Don't forget your chrome mouth spray.

Wearability: 0/10

Breakdown: Don't use your mum's nude tights for this. She'll be really pissed.
