Season 4 Of "Canada's Drag Race" Is Here And When You Meet This Cast, You're Going To Wish It Was November 16th Already

Canada is serving more charisma, uniqueness, nerve and TALENT than ever before!

In case you've been living under a rock (or like, Saskatchewan I imagine), the fourth season of Canada’s Drag Race is premiering on Thursday, November 16th. And TODAY, the first look at the all-new contestants were revealed.

Canada's own Queen of the North Brooke Lynn Hytes, celebrity stylist Brad Goreski, and etalk host Traci Melchor, will judge these 11 queens through nine juicy episodes to crown our newest Canadian Drag Superstar! 

So, before you're immersed in every sickening runway look and every gag worthy lip-sync this November, here's everything you need to know about the new cast.

Time to meet your new favourite drag queens, babe! 

1. Aimee Yonce Shennel: Ottawa, Ontario.

Age: 31

Bio: Aimee Yonce Shennel grew up in Dominican Republic and moved to Canada in 2016. Currently the reigning Miss Capital Pride, Aimee believes that making even one person smile can make a world of difference. 

What she's bringing to Drag Race: "I haven’t met a person who has watched me, and didn’t instantly fall in love with me. It’s something natural. I was born with this gift.”

2. Aurora Matrix: Toronto, Ontario.

Age: 23 

Bio: A York University graduate, Aurora Matrix has officially left campus and is now booked and busy five nights a week in the Toronto drag scene. 

What she's bringing to Drag Race: “I’m a performer through and through. I personally don’t think there’s anyone in Toronto who performs like I do!"

3. Denim: Montréal, Québec.

Age: 24

Bio: This well-known transmasc queen has performed with the likes of Charli XCX, Kim Petras, and Caroline Polachek but at her core, she is an effortless blend of drag activism, 2000s bimbo fashion and futuristic club kid aesthetic. 

What she's bringing to Drag Race: “Denim is everyone’s favourite pocket-sized queen! She is a trans icon, she is a reality TV bimbo star, she is in her own galaxy, she can melt and bend into anything…some would say it’s in her jeans!”

4. Kiki Coe: Ottawa, Ontario.

Age: 35 

Bio: This might be Kiki's first time on the runway but her designs have been here before!  An accomplished designer, her costumes are known for WOW-factor and have been featured on earlier seasons of Canada's Drag Race. Outside of drag, Kiki works as a chef and has entered several cooking competitions.

What she's bringing to Drag Race: “My drag is RICH. It’s seasoned. It’s strong. There could be a whole tsunami and my head piece would stay ON.”

5. Kitten Kaboodle: Toronto, Ontario.

Age: 57

Bio: Kitten Kaboodle is a campy 70s showgirl who loves a variety show! Another very popular drag designer, Kitten has designed looks for several previous queens who have appeared on the main stage! 

What she's bringing to Drag Race: “I am always about being campy, but polished and elevated. Everything a little bit bigger, a little gayer, and a LOT of sparkle.”

6. Luna DuBois: Toronto, Ontario.

Age: 24

Bio: Luna DuBois is a self-taught makeup artist and certified fashion icon who has hosted Drag Masterclasses. Beyond her gag-worthy aesthetic, Luna uses drag to proudly represent other queer Nigerians who share her story and find inspiration through her.

What she's bringing to Drag Race: “Luna DuBois is an essence. The DuBois factor. I don’t fit in, I stand out and stand out only. It’s the full moon experience.”

7. Melinda Verga: Edmonton, Alberta.

Age: 44

Bio: Since starting performing at age 37, Melinda has been crowned in Gay Edmonton 2017 and Edmonton Drag Idol 2018. She is passionate about expanding the Edmonton drag scene and highlighting Filipino and Asian cultures. All that's left now is for her to take the crown in Canada's main stage! 

What she's bringing to Drag Race: "This season I am bringing 44 years of life experiences, lessons, wisdom…oh, and ass!”

8. Nearah Nuff: Calgary, Alberta.

Age: 22

Bio: Part of the infamous Calgary drag family, the Nuff Family, Nearah is a competitive dancer and a clinical aesthetician. When you see her perform, you'd never know she's only been doing drag for three years!

What she's bringing to Drag Race: “I’m a dancing Diva – emphasis on Diva! She’s anything but a filler queen and the only thing that’s bigger than her lips is her ego.”

9. Sisi Superstar: Montréal, Québec.

Age: 31

Bio: Sisi Superstar is Montréal’s self-proclaimed underground, hyper-pop, grunge queen. Having co-created Montréal’s biggest alternative queer event, Unikorn Parties, Sisi is a queen of all trades: DJ, songwriter, event planner, community organizer, and most importantly – a force to be reckoned with this season!

What she's bringing to Drag Race: "She’s spooky, she’s sexy, she’s Montréal’s #1 party girl, organizer, socialite, queen of the underground nightlife, professionally messy. She’s everything.”

10. The Girlfriend Experience: Vancouver, British Columbia.

Age: 31

Bio: The Girlfriend Experience is a German-Canadian trans queen who is everything but what you'd expect! Having publicly documented her transition journey and produced an all-trans drag show in Vancouver, The Girlfriend Experience hopes her drag will encourage other's to celebrate their most authentic selves. 

What she's bringing to Drag Race: “I fit in ‘cause I’m everybody’s friend, but I stand out ‘cause I’m prettier than all of them!”

11. Venus: Vancouver, British Columbia.

Age: 27.

Bio: Vancouver drag LEGEND, Venus is a member of the popular non-binary Drag supergroup ENBY6 and the Gender Drag family alongside her drag mother, Kendall Gender from Season 2. Beyond her accolades as model and performer, as a Red River Metis two-spirit person, Venus uses drag to honour her Metis ancestry. 

What she's bringing to Drag Race: “Get ready for interplanetary impact for the supernova supermodel, Venus, has finally arrived. Not only is she the hottest in all our solar system, but she also has a BIG surprise. So let’s have some fun, her outfits are sick, come take a ride on her rocket ship!”
