Forgive the corny trailer with the movie man voiceover, but it may actually be a good fit for this movie. Sometimes, you're looking for a little corny in your life (The Holiday reference, for you all). Diane Keaton plays an overbearing, misguided mom, who set up dates for unknowing daughter (Mandy Moore)...and hijinks (and love!) ensue.

Sci-fi meets romcom, part 3. The end of the world is coming, and Dodge (Steve Carell) finds himself without a date. He sets off to find an old flame, in the company of his neighbour (Kiera Knightley), in order to find love at or peace with the end of the world. Yes, it has a few weird tonal shifts between slapstick and seriousness, but I think that's the end of the world for you. It's ridiculous fun, it's heartbreak, it's joy and fear, it's everything.

OK, so I like Steve Carell. What can I say? You should too.

Dan (Steve Carell) is an advice columnist, who is struggling to keep his life together, in the wake of his wife's death. This movie has got heart and one of the best on-screen families you'll ever see.

Here's a little bonus action for you. Hit and Run, I wouldn't technically class this as a romcom, but some might. Mostly I'd say it's comedy/action. However, and this is a huge HOWEVER, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are the main love interests. Their love can turn just about any movie into a romcom.
