This Was The Emotional Moment A Woman Shot In Las Vegas Was Reunited With The Man Who Saved Her

"If it wasn't for him, I would not be here."

A Canadian woman who was shot in Las Vegas was reunited this week with the man who saved her life.

Jan Lambourne, from Teulon, Manitoba, was shot in the stomach during the Route 91 Harvest country music festival last weekend.

She says she only survived because of Justin Uhart, who was bartending at the event. Despite the gunfire around them, he stayed with her and applied pressure to the wound until paramedics arrived.

Uhart visited Lambourne in her Las Vegas hospital room, where they both broke into tears.

"I was worried about you all night," Uhart told her.

"It was a rough night for both of us," Lambourne said of her saviour.

"But if it wasn't for him, I would not be here," she told CBC News.

Four Canadians were among the 58 victims killed when a gunman opened fire from the window of his hotel room across the street from the music festival. It is the worst mass shooting in US history.
