The Second Season Of Netflix's "You" Is Dropping This Year And I Am Absolutely Ready To Be Spooked

Time to fantasise about Joe in an unhealthy way again. 😍

🚨 Mild spoilers ahead β€” avert your eyes if you haven't watched the first season! 🚨

In case you missed it, Netflix's You was one of the most-talked about shows last year.

Although it delved into some creepy storylines (I'm talking stalker/serial killer vibes), it was, at times, slightly ridiculous, which made it even more addictive to watch.

And let's not even go into the unhealthy crushes that many of us (yes, even me) developed on Joe Goldberg as the series progressed.

But anyway, I digress. The most important news is that we finally have a date for the launch of Season 2!

The series will be out on December 26, which honestly, can't come soon enough, and will explore Joe moving to LA to start a new life.

And while that grand adventure sounds like sunshine and daisies, Sera Gamble, the showrunner and co-creator of You, said that season 2 will actually be "gorier and scarier than anything we had in season one".

Besides that, I'm hoping we'll get some answers to that ABSOLUTE CLIFFHANGER of a finale involving Candace.

Penn Badgely also posted this sneak peek, which reveals absolutely nothing, but made me excited because of the ~spooky~ music and editing.

Ready for a fresh start. You S2 December 26.

"rEAdY foR a fREsH sTART!!!" β€” Me, after binge-watching the entire series in a day.

There's also been confirmation that Charlie Barnett, who you might remember as Alan from Russian Doll, will be playing a character called Gabe.

If you need me, I'll be hiding under the covers, rewatching every episode until the new season drops.
