Even though we're all Australians at the end of the day, there are some of us who, quite frankly, possess a few incredibly un-Australian characteristics.
There are some who don't like Vegemite, others who hate beer (it's me) and those who would rather watch paint dry than attend a cricket match.
So, in the spirit of having a laugh, Reddit user u/AutoModerator asked fellow Aussies to share how they've "failed to conform" to some of our nation's most stereotypical traits. Here are the hilarious responses!
1. Liking weak and watery Milo.
2. Voluntarily choosing not to drink alcohol.
3. Being uncomfortable in "blokey" conversations and/or company.
4. Not going bonkers over AFL or NFL, like every other Australian.
5. Preferring the inferior Promite over the legendary Vegemite.
6. Or, just simply hating on the concept of yeast spreads.
7. Not finding the concept of dollarydoos — or that entire Australian-themed Simpsons episode — hilarious.
8. Hating one of Australia's most well-known and iconic breakfast cereals.
9. Thinking that "cunt" shouldn't be part of Australia's every day vocabulary.
10. Loathing VB, which has long been marketed as "Australia's favourite beer".
11. And preferring the taste of international beers compared to those made in Australia.
12. Despising one of Australia's most iconic food combinations — beetroot on burgers.
13. Not enjoying brutal combat sports and the gambling linked to those industries.
14. Or, just hating the concept of sports in general.
15. And lastly, committing sheer blasphemy (kidding...kinda) through their snag preferences.
