Carmen Pai Daschke is an Atlanta native with a Master’s Degree in History of Religion from the University of Chicago Divinity School. She is a professor in Humanities at Perimeter College Georgia State University, where she teaches World Religions and Humanities through the Arts. Carmen is a stage four cancer survivor and the parent a child with autoimmune syndrome which have informed her work on World Religions for Healthcare Professionals. She is an award winning public speaker, with interests in culture, religions, travel, cancer, and healthcare. She has travelled the world as a student and teacher, studying language and religious practices. She was the author of a celebrated blog on the Yahoo platform, entitled “Iman Zaineb’s What I think… Tasty, ain’t it?” where she wrote about living for five years in Casablanca, Morocco.
