So yeah, Anjali was adorable with her little cutesy headbands and quirks, I'll give you that. But let's get down to the reality here: She was a manipulative, emotionally exploitative little turd.

At 8 years old, Anjali had already ruined several lives to make hers ideal. I don't know if it's the brainwashing via her dead mum's annual letters that's to be held responsible, or just the fact that she was born an evil genius who will get what she wants one way or another.

2. Munna Bhai from Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.

This pathological liar melted everyone's heart in 2003 because it's adorable when you almost get away with a fake medical degree, potentially putting several lives in danger, only to be able to marry the girl of his dreams. The dude just "orders" dead bodies over the phone in anatomy class. Also, he strips students much younger than him to "counter bullying".

Remember, kids, crime is A-OK if it comes with a jaadu ki jhappi. Always hug people after you euthanise them for leisure. It makes people go, "WTFFFF but awwww though."

3. Nandini from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam

Nandini taught me that if you're kinda cute and good at pretending to be sweet, please feel free to have a fucking field day trashing your loved ones' expectations of you. Break boys' hearts. Do it twice if the first time wasn't fun enough. Throw a tantrum when someone insinuates you're a shitty person, and don't you dare think about the long term when making decisions.

Basically, people are disposable for this walking dick of a human being.

4. Raj from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge

Raj was cute and funny, right? LOL wrong. He got a girl drunk and she passed out. After she woke up, he basically told her he raped her. Yup. With an elaborate story, no less, only for shits and giggles (Simran shitting herself and Raj giggling).

He may have "gone out of his way to marry Simran" when he moved to India and to her haveli, but the fuck was the game plan to begin with? If Bauji hadn't found the Europe photo of Simran and him, and stopped him mid-exit, Raj was fucking dipping out anyway after getting that sweet tail.

You always felt kinda sorry for this poor man, didn't you? All he wanted was for everyone to be happy because his life was full of hurt. :'(

Welp, congrats on feeling sorry for a manipulative asshole who doesn't really believe in asking for his adopted children's consent for rishtas. He thinks it's not emotionally scarring at all to marry the one of them off to his dead wife's sister when the sister is in love with someone else. Poor girl got tricked as fuck.

6. Shanta/Ayah from Earth: 1947

Little Lenny's caretaker met a horrible fate at the end of the film. However, that is no reason her assholery shouldn't count. She exposed the child to her sexual life all the time, and took her along to meet creepy, dangerous men. Night or day, Lenny was visiting very, very risky areas where bombs were going off and people were casually having their limbs ripped out.

And don't even get me started on Lenny's parents, who were always worried about their stance on the Muslim-Hindu state divide but never asked Shanta where she took their only child. Fuck those guys.

7. Monu from Haseena Maan Jaayegi

Monu, played by Govinda, was considered a hopeless romantic who just loved this one girl too much, too purely. He was entertaining, funny, and eventually got married to her.

But this was only after he harassed her nonstop, threatened her several times, and almost kidnapped her. At the end of the day, he and his equally horrible brother were considered a little "mischievous" at most.

8. Raj Aryan from Mohabbatein

You may think this violin-toting music teacher was a saviour of love at Gurukul, but under those pastel layers of clothing lay a salty bitch who kept grudges.

Instead of teaching the students anything about music AT ALL, Raj used them to the point that they were nearly expelled and their futures ruined. This wasn't so they could "get with the loves of their life", hell naw. It was so he could win in front of the principal. He forgets that when he lost his girlfriend to suicide, the principal lost his fucking daughter, Raj you insensitive twat.

9. Tina from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

If you thought her daughter was a horrible human, get ready to meet mother monster. Tina could see that Anjali (Kajol) loved the crap out of Rahul. But what feels better than ruining someone's life while pretending to be a genuine friend, amirite?

Let's not forget that before she died, she left eight birthday letters for her infant daughter that were full of fucking MISSIONS to disrupt Anjali's life once again. #ResponsibleParenting101

10. Raj from Judaai

Raj was literally sold by his wife and bought by another woman, making him the victim in the film. But did he do anything substantial about it? LOL nah, he enjoyed it.

He pretended to be mad and issued hollow threats about leaving both women while actually just reaping the benefits of having two beautiful women and mad $$$ in his life. Just look at him here. Does that look like a trafficked man to you?

11. Jai from Jai Ho

Pure-hearted Jai may have believed in paying it forward and been hailed as a hero for it, but he killed a bunch of people and caused millions worth of damage to property. Kids parks, restaurants, cars, private property, you name it.

Pretty ironic that despite being an asshole, Jai could just not give a shit.

12. Durga from Karan Arjun

Durga's husband died at the hands of some horrible people – sad.

Durga took her sons to those people and they were killed too – really sad but kinda dumb.

Durga emotionally blackmailed two lookalikes of her sons to avenge the deaths – downright fucking assholic.

This is one of Bollywood's most iconic moms, y'all, and she'll put random strangers in danger to get what she wants.

13. Rancho from 3 Idiots

Everybody's favourite secret genius science nerd Rancho wasn't all that and a bag of chips. He bullied a student for his accent so badly, it traumatised him for the rest of his life. He also slipped in and out of a girl's life at his own convenience. Not to mention he's one smug asshole, too.
