12 Texts That Explain Finals For College Seniors

Finals week is fast approaching, so naturally college seniors are either freaking out or just hoping that C's really do get degrees. I'm writing this post at 2:30 in the morning, so clearly you know where I stand.

1. It's Finally Here

Your last week of college classes has finally arrived. You've spent 4 (or 8, in my case. No judgement here) long years working toward your degree, but instead of excitement, you're in extreme denial and will talk about anything but school.

2. Temptation Is All Around You

Your friends will be tempted to ditch classes, but you will convince them to go anyway even though your nights are spent doing literally anything but homework.

3. You Start Making Excuses Not To Go

In a short period of time, you change your mind and temptation gets the best of you.

You revert back to your childhood of not wanting to get out of bed because school is the worst.

When you oversleep, you commit to your slumber instead of committing to your education.

It always sucks when you forget an assignment and have to do it at the last minute, but it's even worse when you remember the assignment the day after it's due.

Facing a day full of classes gets harder and harder to handle. You start to eat alone in your car instead of facing your friends who are slightly more optimistic about than you are graduating.

But no matter what happens, know that you're not going through this struggle alone. Finals are rough for everyone, but after they're over the real world is out there to kick you in the ass.
