So last night the funniest show of all time, Veep, came back for its sixth season. And wow. SO MUCH CHANGE!!!!!!
The premiere is set exactly one year after the big Meyer loss and everybody is all over the place. Literally. ******WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD******
Let's start with the worst guy in the world: Jonah Ryan.
Congressman Jonah Ryan is a cancer survivor, although not to the extent the public believes. How long has he been shaving his head??? Why does he hate school lunches so much??? What does he actually do for his district???
In addition, Kent, and now Ben, are working for Jonah. How the hell did that happen??? Has Jonah driven Kent crazy??? Is Ben going to make it out???
Then there's everyone's favorite hot bastard, Dan Egan.
Dan is now reluctantly Danny and is an anchor for CBS news. How did he get there??? Why did he leave Washington??? What is he going to do now that he hates working in TV???
Let's move on to our good friend Amy Brookheimer.
Amy is now engaged to Buddy Calhoun and is his gubernatorial campaign's manager. When did they get engaged??? Why is their sex life so weird??? Is Amy living in Nevada now??? Isn't she bored without Washington???
Then there's the lovable-but-also-not Mike McLintock.
Mike is now a struggling father of three. How did he and Wendy adopt two more kids??? How long has he been out of a job??? How has he not lost his mind???
And, of course, we've got Richard Splett. The greatest character of all time.
Richard is now working for Selina. What exactly is his job??? Why did he decide to work for her??? Will he ever become competent???
Then there's Gary. Classic Gary Walsh.
Honestly Gary is the only constant here. He's still Selina's Wilson the Volleyball. I've only got one Gary question: How is he feeling about all this???
Shoutout to Catherine and Marjorie for being Catherine and Marjorie.
Then finally, we've got the queen herself: Selina Meyer.
Selina's had a rough year. What is she doing with herself??? Was she actually in an institution??? Why hasn't she written any of her memoir??? Why is she with Andrew again??? What is this aids/adult literacy foundation???
But more importantly...Selina wants to run for president again??? Doesn't she understand how insane that is??? What the hell is she thinking???
All that being said, there is one question I need answered most. One thing I just have to know, more than anything else. WHEN WILL WE GET SUE BACK?????????
