33 Things I Feel Listening To "Love Story (Taylor's Version)"

I'm at an old-timey ball and I'm making lots of eye contact with my dance partner, who's kind of hard to read but I'm into it.

As I'm very sure you already know, Taylor Swift just released "Love Story (Taylor's Version)," the re-recorded version of her 2008 hit, "Love Story." I won't go into the reasons why, 'cause that's not why I'm here, but I will say that artists should own their own work!

Here are 33 emotions I feel while listening to the re-recorded version of this classic.

    1. Happy, because it's impossible not to be happy when listening to this song. I am pumped, baby! Sorry for saying "baby."

    2. Nostalgic. It feels like it's 2008 all over again and High School Musical 3: Senior Year just came out.

Gabriella from "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" sings, "Troooooooy"

    3. Like I could silently cry on the floor of my bedroom for three hours.

Jess from "New Girl" laying on the floor of her bedroom

    4. Like I'm in a rom-com and it's the very end and I'm about to kiss the love of my life at an airport.

I am the kid running in the airport in "Love Actually"

    5. Like I'm riding a horse. I've never ridden a horse, but this is how it feels.

Two people on horses are definitely listening to "Love Story (Taylor's Version)"

    6. Like I'm a city gal and I've fallen for a small-town boy.

Archie and Veronica from "Riverdale", an imperfect example of what I'm talking about

    7. So, so happy. This is more than I ever even imagined it could be.

Schmidt from "New Girl" saying, "I can't believe this is happening, it's everything that I've ever wanted"

    8. Like I myself am a violin.

A picture of a violin is a picture of my face and body

    9. Like I'm 8 and pretending to be 16.

Rory from "Gilmore Girls" saying, "I'm not a kid, I'm nineteen," crossed out to say, "I'm not a kid, I'm sixteen"

    10. Like I'm 16 and pretending to be 21.

Rory from "Gilmore Girls" saying, "I'm not a kid, I'm nineteen," crossed out to say, "I'm not a kid, I'm twenty-one"

    11. Like I'm 21 and pretending to be 16.

Rory from "Gilmore Girls" saying, "I'm not a kid, I'm nineteen," crossed out to say, "I'm not twenty-one, I'm a kid"

    12. Like I'm 31 and looking back at being in love at 21.

Rory from "Gilmore Girls" saying, "I'm not a kid, I'm nineteen," crossed out to say, "I'm thirty-one and looking back at twenty-one"

    13. Like I'm 96 and looking back on my life.

Rory from "Gilmore Girls" saying, "I'm not a kid, I'm nineteen," crossed out to say, "I'm tired of this image"

    14. Nervous. I feel like I really want something and I'm going after it, but will I get what I want, what I really, really want?

    15. Like I'm driving alone down a Nebraska road with all the windows rolled down. I'm in control but I'm also free.

    17. Kind of sad? But in a good way. Good sad.

    Winston from "New Girl" crying

    18. Like I'm a princess in the 1800s and I've fallen for a blacksmith apprentice.

On "New Girl", Jess says, "It's forbidden," Cece says, "That makes it so much hotter," and Jess says, "It makes it crazy hotter"

    19. Powerful. I am a woman who can do anything.

    25. Like I'm at an old-timey ball and I'm making lots of eye contact with my dance partner, who's kind of hard to read but I'm into it.

I am Elizabeth in "Pride and Prejudice"

    26. Like I'm the strongest person in the world. Try me, I dare you.

I am a strongman holding a folded up frying pan on "This Morning"

    27. Like I'm about to marry someone I don't love in order to make my family happy, but then I decide to run away with the person I truly love. And we're in a field.

Nick from "New Girl" saying, "I'm not okay" on the beach is Me (featuring Brendon Urie of Panic at the Disco)

    31. Like I'm playing in the snow with my, my, my lover (don't know if you caught it, but there were references to other great Taylor Swift tunes in these last two).

Schmidt from "New Girl" says, "Don't feel bad about not seeing it, look man, it was subtle as hell"

    32. Confident. I own the room.

Reagan from "New Girl" saying "I'm amazing"

    33. And finally, in love with this freaking awesome song so much more.
