Loki Scene Cut From 'Avengers: Age Of Ultron', Says Joss Whedon

Sorry Tumblr, you're favourite God of Mischief is nowhere to be found.

Joss Whedon, director of Avengers: Age Of Ultron and it's prequel Avengers Assemble, has stated that Loki will NOT appear in this year's blockbuster.

With Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, playing big parts in Avengers Assemble and Thor: The Dark World, it'll feel like something's missing for a lot of fans when watching AOU. Joss Whedon states in an interview with MTV that the movie felt it already had "so much" and they didn't want it to get "overstuffed" with adding Loki scenes.

    Watch the video below:

He continues to say, however, that scenes with Loki were filmed, but just "didn't play". Does this mean that we might get a Loki deleted scene when the DVD comes out? Fingers crossed!

But fear not, Hiddlestoners. Even if that deleted scene doesn't make it to the special features menu, we still get to see Tom in his leather and metal armour for Thor: Ragnarok in 2017!
