What makes you guys laugh? Puns and deadlines make me laugh. When my boss gives me a deadline, I cannot stop laughing but I keep it all inside. Statement from Nicolas Rage about "Laugh"

"Laugh" is about putting on that face for everyone around. That face that says I’m doing fine even though I’m not. "Laugh" is about living with depression and how it looms over you every day. You never know what someone is going through. The fact that it’s always there means we have to find ways to cope with it to survive.

As much as I don’t have an answer to beating depression, I do feel like hope is always there if we look for it. Which brings us to the break down that comes in at the end of the song, just when you think it’s over, it comes back. Like depression, the break down symbolizes our ongoing fight against our own minds and finding peace.

By laughing it off and finding those things in life that keep us going we can find these Micro-moments of happiness and to me, they make this life worth living. Keep your head up and keep fighting.
