    Meet Michael, the fundraising actor.

You may recognize him as Sad African™

Every time a white savior comes to Africa to film their fundraising videos, these tropes are the first thing they film.

Kind, Middle-Class White Woman arrives on the continent.

Bestows gifts upon The Poor, Tragic Africans.

The inevitable line about smiling children as if a single child has never smiled before she got there.

Thanks to Kind, Middle-Class White Lady (and YOU!) all of Africa is saved.

    Meanwhile: side-eye game strong.

The video was created to promote the Rusty Radiator Awards and the Golden Radiator Awards which award the most stereotypical and the most creative fundraising campaigns, respectively.

The winners of the awards will be announced on December 3rd.
