One Oscar Voter Won't Cast His Ballot For Quvenzhané Wallis Because Of Her Name

"I...don’t vote for anyone whose name I can’t pronounce."

The Hollywood Reporter recently sat down with an anonymous director as he cast his Oscar ballot.

For the category of Best Actress, he explained his voting process:

He also explained that he won't be voting for Jennifer Lawrence because of her SNL performance.

Which is kind of weird, since he is basically making the same joke she makes in her opening monologue...

You know, the "that black girl has a lot of letters in her name" joke.

Meanwhile, Quvenzhané Wallis continues to be amazing: An Oscar nominated actress at age 9.
