This Summer Activities Checklist Will Have You Nostalgic For Your Childhood

Check off everything you did during your childhood summers.

You probably still had fun summers when you were a kid, but it was more indoor fun like playing _Super Mario World_ or doing your summer reading. You (or your parents) were probably a little over-concerned about getting dirty or hurt and that's ok! You found a way to have fun, but remember not to be afraid to get out there and try something new!

You might've been more of an "inside kid."

You probably had a good idea for what your summers would include. You did the things that you liked to do and you did them a LOT — how many forts can one kid build? How many nights in a row can you catch fireflies? How many friendship bracelets can you make? You had a blast during your summers doing exactly what you wanted!

You had more unique summers!

You had a good mix of camps and free time at home and trips every summer, even if some of those things were the same year-after-year (why mess with a good thing?). You probably had your favorite spots to visit at the beach, knew the routine at your camp, and the best places to build a fort in your yard. You loved getting into it all and were so bummed when school came back around!

You were a busy kid!

You were going places, seeing things, creating, crafting, and exploring. Not every kid is as lucky as you and you're probably so appreciative and nostalgic of your epic summers now that you're older! Remember to hold onto that child-like spirit!

You really did it all when it came to summers! Camps, adventures, trips, projects, games, and so much more! Your parents might have been a little overwhelmed by everything you had going on, but you've probably turned out to be super interesting, brave, and someone who isn't afraid to try something new, get creative, get dirty, or just let loose!

You were living the dream!
