Reviewers love this asset as well:
"I'm trying very hard to reduce my dependance on plastics that have to be thrown away. I find these reusable silicone 'pouches' just as good as a plastic ziplock bag, but more sustainable. My understanding of silicone products is that they don't biodegrade, but that they can be recycled. That's better than a huge mat of plastics floating in the ocean. They are easy to clean and disinfect in the dishwasher spread over the prongs so that the water can thoroughly wash them. They'll be a little damp inside when they come out, but just prop them upside down over something so that they can air dry." —KD-D
"I've been using up the last of my Ziplocs and Saran wrap with the goal of not using any more single-use products in the kitchen, and these are a perfect Ziploc replacement! I've used mine to store fruit, sandwiches, and meat in marinades and they work great. I've washed mine in the dishwasher several times and they clean up really easily. I also find the zipper a lot easier to get closed on the first try compared to regular zip top bags. They're a bit of an investment, but over time it's saved me buying boxes and boxes of Ziplocs." —Todd
Last year, I had run out of plastic sandwich bags which lead to a discussion between my husband and me about if we really needed them in the house at all. We decided we did NOT and chose to try out the reusable Stasher silicone snack bags instead. They've been great! They're super easy to clean, come in fun colors, and feature a really tight pinch-lock seal, so snacks stay fresh. We're definitely going to buy the sandwich bags as well in preparation for going on picnics this summer and fall.
"My friend got me a sandwich and snack size for my birthday and that’s when the obsession started. I got these on sale for Prime Day because they’re usually pricey otherwise and, ahh, I love them. Say bye-bye to plastic single-use Ziplocs and get these instead. They’re incredibly thick and durable compared to some other brands which I have also tried out. I will say sometimes I have trouble opening from the center so I open the bags from the corners and that is a lot easier. They take a little longer to dry but if you put them on the top of cups in the dish rack or use the stands on the rack it’ll dry quicker. Would love to buy all of the colors but my wallet and fiancé would not be happy. Still I highly recommend!!! Just invest in these and don’t bother with the other brands." —Jeanaaa
"I love these bags! I’ve purchased several of these already and keep finding uses for them. So far, the best use of the 1/2 gallon bag is leftover pizza slices. I’m also using the bags for luncheon meat as the plastic containers they come in never really seal after they’re pulled open." —CheeseGeek
"I love these bags!! They are easy to clean — throw them in the top rack of the dishwasher! They keep food fresh — I use them for food in the cabinet or fridge. I plan on using them for freezer meals soon. I would reuse Ziploc bags, so I’m glad to have these instead since they are so much thicker than a Ziploc bag!" —BoyMom
"I can't say enough about how much I love these pouches. I use one as a wallet, and it carries a lot of cards and some cash. Nothing has ever spilled out of it, and I've had these for months. I use the second as a small medication holder, and again, have never had a spill from the pouch. They are small enough to fit in a pocket, and really, despite all of the really nice wallets I've had, I prefer using this pouch. It cleans up very easily, it's small enough to carry around in your hand or your pocket, it carries everything I need to carry with me into a store, and feels great to hold. It keeps my purse organized, too, which is a big plus for those of us who tend to carry around a lot of stuff.
I ordered a second set of these, which came today and are shown in the second picture, plus a large set of pouches from the same company for food storage and other organizing and storage needs, including carrying some napkins and plasticware in the glove compartment for takeout use. These pouches are some of the most useful items I have ever owned, and I will be purchasing a lot more of them in the future as I go through things that need to be organized and figure out what sizes would suit the task best." —Kim Wood
