It's no surprise to me that someone who is capable of racing around the world to all of these different countries also has quite a few racing thoughts. Stop thinking about what comes next — whether that be a travel destination, something at work, or a family event — and try to just enjoy the moment. Starting and ending your day with even just ten minutes of mediation will work wonders!

You should try meditation!

You are clearly up for any adventure and should start hiking on a regular basis. To stay safe, consider asking one of your friends to be your hiking buddy or join a local hiking club. When you can't get out to the mountains, just walk around your neighborhood. You'd be surprised at how much more connected to the world you'll start to feel!

Just because you like colder climates doesn't mean you like being cold. I don't know about you, but I think that the Scandinavians are geniuses for incorporating saunas so prominently into their culture. While getting a home sauna might not be affordable, see if there are any local gyms or spas near you that you could frequent for a weekly detox!

You should try detoxing in a sauna!

While obviously your wallet will be begging you not to go to the spa tooooo frequently, try to go once a month, or even once every few months for a basic service. Whether it's a massage or a facial, you're sure to relax in a way that you simply cannot anywhere else. That being said, to hold you over between treatments, do a weekly face mask and foot bath at home!

You should treat yourself to a spa day!

I know, it feels like EVERYONE is getting into pilates, but that's probably for good reason! Try to find a local gym that you can frequent once a week, that way you can create a routine and start to make friends. Pilates strengthens you physically AND lets you have some socialization, something working out solo just can't provide.

You should join pilates!

Yoga was invented literally THOUSANDS of years ago, so whether or not you've tried it in the past, there is obvious a history of its effectiveness. You can do yoga practically anywhere, as long as your hotel room has a few spare feet. This will help keep you grounded and let you stretch out after long days of travel, since I just know you're always on the move!
