Yes the prosecution in the criminal case was flawed, and that’s why that jury’s verdict was correct. But no one who sat through the civil case could avoid concluding that that jury was correct as well.

Yes, the prosecution screwed up grandly in the criminal trial, and that’s why that jury was correct. But no one could have watched the civil trial without concluding that that jury was correct as well.
