    Today, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) turns 74.

    Born March 26, 1940, in Baltimore, Maryland, Nancy Pelosi took office in a special election for California's eighth district in 1987. She went on to become the first female Democratic Leader of the House of Representatives and the first female Speaker of the House.

    While they don't always agree on policy, Speaker Boehner and Minority Leader have always maintained an admirable working relationship in a Congress where that appears to be difficult.

    Naturally, the Speaker wanted to find the perfect gift for his friend and colleague on her birthday.

    And the result was golden...
