8 Reasons Why You Should Pack Up Your Life And Move To Sweden

This is 8 perfectly good reasons to why you immediately should pack up you life and move to the long country called Sweden far up north in Europe. Hold your horses and start packing because here we go!

The government give the people who study in Sweden financial support and a loan to a ridiculously low interest. Also, the education in Sweden is free so everybody has a fair chance to get a proper education. How awesome isn't that?

2. The healthcare system

The healthcare services in Sweden are free until you reach the age of 20. So if you feel ill, need to talk to a professional etc, just do it. The taxes will cover the expenses!

3. The chocolate bars

Sweden is known and famous for its wonderful marabou chocolate bar. And guess what, they are available in several different yummy flavors! Imagen just going to the local supermarket and getting a whole bunch of them. Who wouldn´t wanna be able to do that? I know I would.

When living in Sweden you´ll have the free right to brag about living in the same country as so many talented people like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Peter Forsberg, Avicii, Abba, Ingvar Kamprad, well this list could go on forever. And don´t be surprised when you see them walking down the streets like a totally normal citizen, because here in Sweden we do not make a big thing about it. They are just like us, just a tiny bit more well-known around the world.

5. The cinnamon bun

Sweden is the one and only true home of the famous cinnamon bun. This is the most amazingly delicious pastry that you'll ever taste! As a Swedish resident everybody has a package of home baked cinnamon buns at home. I´m telling you, just the pastry is a good enough reason to move to Sweden. I promise.

6. Fika

In Sweden we have something called "fika sessions". This occurs at least one time per day and when it does, it means lots of coffee and cinnamon buns and other delicious pastries. Just a regular chill out session with delicious treats. Everybody loves to fika!

7. Swedish midsummer

In Sweden it seems like the sun never sets. In fact, in the north it doesn’t, and in the south only for an hour or two. This brings friends and family together for the most typically Swedish tradition of them all: Midsummer. You´ll get to drink a lot of alcohol, eat lots of delicious food, and dance around a pole made out of tree branches meanwhile singing ridiculous songs. How fun? So fun!

And last but not least, the Swedish nature. Sweden is known for its outstanding and beautiful surroundings and landscapes. This wonderful country is one of the least populated countries in the world with 97% of inhabited land. This leaves a lot of land to explore, which is made even easier with the constitutionally guaranteed right of public access that we have in Sweden.

Whether you are a person who likes or dislike nature, this country has something you´ll enjoy. There is something for everybody, and the view will charm your pants of!
