This Sydney Cafe's Flower-Covered Cakes Will Brighten Up Your Day

    The Instagram possibilities are endless.

In the prettiest collaboration ever, a Sydney florist and pastry chef have come together to open Petal Met Sugar.

Inside the store, there are separate counters to buy flowers or desserts, plus tables to dine-in and admire everything.

However the best thing about Petal Met Sugar is that all sweet treats are topped with edible flowers, such as violas.

The menu will change according to what flowers are in season.

At the moment, you'll find "Terrarium", a white chocolate dome with cocoa nib soil, passion fruit and finger lime pannacotta, and lemon balm.

As well as a peach tea cake with oolong tea brulee, peach compote, coconut macaron, and coconut glaze.

And also tiny adorable banana bread.

For Christmas, Wong says to expect a dessert with gingerbread, and something "snow-inspired".

For the prettiest party in town, the duo also cater events.
