What Are Your Favorite Female Empowerment Scenes From TV Shows?

AKA moments when I cheered at my TV.

Women.

If you know me, you know I absolutely love TV shows led by badass, empowered women. I especially love to see women stand up for themselves and be super inspiring!

Jess saying she brakes for birds, wears polka dots, and has touched glitter recently, but that doesn't mean she's not smart and tough and strong

For example, Peggy walking through the halls with a cigarette on Mad Men was ICONIC.

As was this amazing moment from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, when Buffy lost everything and refused to give up:

Angel says "No weapons, no friends, no hope. Take all that away and what's left?" and Buffy replies "Me"

One of my favorite scenes in Orange Is the New Black was when Blanca stood up on the table in the cafeteria after Piscatella's horrible treatment of Red, prompting all of the other inmates to join her.

I also absolutely loved this moment in One Tree Hill, when Brooke stood up to the adoption agent who refused to recommend her after speaking to her emotionally abusive mother, Victoria:

Brooke says she could be a great mother to an unwanted child because she felt unwanted and unworthy, and her mom never saw her as special even though she was
