Members Of The LGBTQ Community — Tell Us The Wack Stuff Straight People Have Said To You That Just Isn't Okay

Bi people, put a finger down for every time you've been told you're just "confused."

Every person who considers themselves a part of the LGBTQ community has been told or asked something offensive.

There's obviously extremely offensive comments and slurs, but more frequent can be questions and statements that straight people might not even see a problem with.

Maybe you're in a same-sex relationship and have been asked who was the "woman" and "man" in the relationship.

Or maybe you were asked super-invasive questions about sex and sexualized by your opposite-sex friends.

Maybe you were told you needed to tone down PDA or that you expressing your sexuality was "inappropriate," especially in front of children.

Maybe you updated your pronouns and were told it was "confusing" and were continuously misgendered.

Or maybe when you told someone you were part of the LGBTQ community, they said you didn't "act gay" or "look trans."

Whatever comments or questions you've received that really weren't okay, we'd love to hear them. Please share any stories or experiences in the comments below, and you could be featured in an upcoming BuzzFeed Community post.
