The Lion King II: Simba's Pride.
It's truly one of the best Disney films, and I'm not the only one who thinks this. But first, let me set the scene:

1. First of all, it's got an amazing soundtrack. "Not One of Us" in particular absolutely BANGS.

3. The lyrics are so applicable to any situation when you feel betrayed.

"Love Will Find a Way" is better than "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" and that's just the truth.

15. Kiara, Simba's daughter, is also a badass Disney princess. Remember how she straight up DESTROYS her own father with five words?

I can't believe Kiara ends racism in the Lion King Cinematic Universe.

Lion King 2 was really a story about a white girl and a black boy falling in love and their parents weren't feeling it.
18. Like, okay, the plot is basically Romeo and Juliet. But this follows perfectly from the plot of The Lion King, which was basically Hamlet!
Kind of messed up that Shakespeare plagiarized the plot of Romeo and Juliet from Lion King 2: Simba's Pride :/
19. One might even say it's *more* memorable than Romeo and Juliet...
20. It's also SUPER hardcore.
21. It truly....pushes the boundaries on the kind of content we're used to in Disney films.
Finally, an animated Disney film that tackles sex.
22. It is NOT the kind of movie you can just zone out during.
The reason Netflix and chill is a thing is because all the Netflix movies are trash. If we’re watching something like Lion King 2 on Disney + and you try to get handsy with me I’m kicking you out immediately
In conclusion, The Lion King II: Simba's Pride is the best Disney sequel. Even Snooki thinks so, so it must be true.
