Sure, Milan may be known as the Italian capital of fashion, but it has a food scene to match. Expect all of your favorite, hearty Italian dishes from stuffed tortellini and charcuterie, to risotto and meatballs. Don't forget to start every meal with a negroni and end with a scoop (or two) of gelato.

Often overlooked by Bangkok, this bustling city in Northern Thailand is a food paradise. The city is known for its street food, and as you browse the night markets you'll find mouthwatering dishes like egg noodles in coconut curry, lemongrass sausage, and spicy braised pork with sticky rice.

Arguably one of the more exciting destinations for food in the U.S., NOLA is where Cajun, Creole, and French flavors collide. Prepare for jambalayas, gumbos, po' boys, crawfish, and beignets galore.

New Orleans, Louisiana

With its beachy-meets-urban vibe, Sydney is teeming with trendy restaurants, cute cafés, and Instagram-ready plates. Take advantage of Sydney's obsession with breakfast (called Brekkie), which the Aussies have turned into an art thanks to colorful açai bowls, decadent avocado toast, and stacks of pancakes adorned with exotic fruit.

This hub for new nordic cooking not only boasts some of the best restaurants in the world (looking at you, Noma), but you'll find everything from authentic tacos and insane Italian food to melt-in-your-mouth falafel and first class pizza.

Go to Tulum for the spectacular beaches and stay for the delicious eats. In this Mexican oasis, mostly everything you order — from grilled octopus to slow cooked pork ribs — is local, fresh as can be, and cooked over an open fire. Expect some of the best damn fish tacos you've ever tasted.
