From the whimsical, colorful architecture designed by Antoni Gaudí, the medieval façades of the Gothic quarter, and Barceloneta beach, which is drenched in the Mediterranean sunshine, you'll instantly fall in love with Barcelona.

You should spend a semester in Cape Town. When you're out of the classroom, you can take advantage of the incredible weather, amazing natural beauty, and so much outdoor adventure all surrounding this cosmopolitan city. How does a weekend safari trip sound? Or a hike up Table Mountain, a few days in wine country, or a visit to the penguin-clad shores of Boulder beach?

This South American cultural capital is an amazing place to learn. Not only is it flooding in culture and history, but it's also teeming with exciting neighborhoods to explore, amazing food and restaurants, and friendly locals. When you want to escape the city, you're only a short flight away from the waterfalls of Iguazu, Mendoza wine country, and the glaciers of Patagonia. Plus, you'll get to master the Spanish language as you explore this amazing city.

Paris, where you'll find everything from amazing food to jaw-droppingly beautiful architecture to some of the most iconic cultural sites in the world (hello, Louvre), is calling your name. Every arrondissement has a unique feel, so you'll never get tired of exploring all the nooks and crannies of this spectacular city. And just imagine seeing the Eiffel Tower sparkle every single night: swoon.

This hip and dazzling city (one of the coolest in the world, to be sure) is known for its laid-back lifestyle, stunning beaches, active harbor, and avant-garde Aussie cuisine. You'll get to know all the different neighborhoods like Newtown and Chippendale, full of boutiques, galleries, and coffee shops. And you can spend the weekends exploring the country and the rest of the South Pacific. A trip to Indonesia, Fiji, or the Great Barrier doesn't sound too shabby, now does it? But whatever you do, don't leave without snapping an Instagram with a koala bear.

You've clearly got a knack for adventure and for stepping out of your comfort zone, so you'll fall head over heels for Beijing. This massive city, one of the largest in Asia, is still incredible charming. While it's very forward-thinking, Beijing also has close ties to China's past. From the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square to impressive temples and the Great Wall, you'll be surrounded by history. Food also plays a huge role in the social scene, and you'll find creative cuisine influenced by every corner of the country.
