Ahh, romantic, picture-perfect Venice. You'll never want to leave this gorgeous city made up of tiny islands connected by canals. Prepare for lots of fresh seafood, squid-ink pastas, and creamy risottos.

Head to the Amalfi Coast where Crayola-colored houses, wildflowers, and winding roads overlook the cerulean Tyrrhenian Sea. In the adorable downs of Positano, Ravelo, and Salerno, you'll chow down on pastas teeming with just-caught seafood and Neapolitan pizza loaded with fresh mozzarella and local tomatoes.

Sicily, the toe of Italy's boot, feels like its own separate country in many ways. You'll find everything from ancient ruins and fishing towns to sparkling seas and volcanoes. Set in Italy's northern Lombardy region, Lake Como is a popular summer resort town. And for good reason — the town looks like it emerged right from the pages of a storybook. You'll find lush vineyards, olive groves, and stunning villas, and you'll taste the flavors of Northern Italy such as polenta, gorgonzola, and rich filled pastas.
