Greek life is a very popular part of the college experience for many students around the country. Even students who aren't a part of a fraternity or sorority usually have the option to attend Greek events, such as fundraisers or parties.
Many students have positive experiences with Greek life and rave about the sense of community and access to connections they get from their organizations. But, on the other hand, more and more stories about the dangers of Greek life continue to surface and illuminate the corruption that can go on behind the scenes. From hazing to sexual assault, the reputation of fraternities in this country is consistently questioned.
Whether or not you were in one, have you ever had a negative experience with a fraternity? What happened, and how was the issue addressed or resolved? If it wasn't resolved, what happened instead?
Any stories or experiences are welcome — from merely attending a frat party, to pledging, to actually being in an organization — your perspective is invited.
