    Ariana Grande's third single off of her upcoming album, Sweetener, is an angelic, sultry pop banger that most definitely gives us chills (the good ones).

    Ariana Grande's new single "God is a Woman" has just been released, and fans everywhere are freaking out.

    Originally set for release on July 20th, Grande surprised fans on Twitter by revealing the song would be dropped at midnight on July 13th.

    After revealing the true release date, Grande said it was her plan all along to release the song on July 13th.

    Grande sings the opening lines,

    "You, you love it how I move you

    You love it how I touch you

    My one, when all is said and done

    You'll believe God is a woman" over a pop and trap infused beat. Later in the song, her voice becomes layered, sounding like a heavenly choir. And, as always, Grande delivers with her impressive falsetto.

    The lyrics of the song embrace the themes of femininity and sexuality. This is the first song of Grande's that truly explores the topics that are important to her. On Twitter, she expresses her gratitude and appreciation for the women who campaign endlessly for equal rights: "to my fellow goddesses who work their asses off every day to β€œbreak the glass ceiling”, this is for you. I respect u and am endlessly inspired by u. Pls continue to f-k it up, to be yourself unapologetically & always know how celebrated u are. hope this can be ya anthem πŸŒ‘πŸŒ˜πŸŒ˜".
