Here's Who I Think Should Be Cast In The New "Peter Pan"

James Corden should be Mr. Smee, obvs.

You've probably heard by now that Yara Shahidi has been cast as Tinkerbell in a new iteration of Peter Pan.

Hats off the casting directors for this one.

The full cast hasn't been revealed just yet, so, as a lifelong Peter Pan fan, I thought I'd share who I would cast in the new version...

    RKO Radio Picrtures

According to Variety, Jude Law is in talks to be play Hook, while Ever Anderson and Alexander Molony are Peter and Wendy.

    Peter Pan – Aidan Gallagher

He might not be the most obvious choice, but I think Aidan's got enough cheeky charm to be the perfect Peter. Plus, in Umbrella Academy, he plays a 60-year-old trapped in a child's body, so this is basically destiny.

    Wendy Darling – Sadie Sink

I challenge anyone to look at Sadie Sink and not picture her as Wendy! I don't know why, but I feel like she'd be a natural at playing a Victorian child.

    Captain Hook – Tessa Thompson

The original Hook was not a likeable guy, but I think Tessa has exactly what it takes so show us the troubled, misunderstood soul beneath the surface. Who knows, maybe she could even do an origin story spin-off!

    Mr. Smee – James Corden

Because is it even a Disney reboot if there isn't a bumbling British bloke?!

John Darling – Roman Griffin Davis

John was a little bit of a know-it-all, and anyone who's seen Jojo Rabbit knows that Roman has enough cheeky wit to make him likable.

    Michael Darling – Jacob Tremblay

Look, I know Michael's a pre-schooler at the oldest, but Jacob has a babyface, so we could make it work. Plus, live-action Neverland is far too dangerous for a four-year-old.

Princess Tiger Lily – Fivel Stewart

The original depiction of Tiger Lily has aged badly, to say the least. I'm sure that anyone who knows Fivel as Izzie from Atypical will agree that she could get Tiger's courage and coolness down to a T.

The Lost Boys – Wyatt Oleff, Jaeden Martell, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, and Gaten Matarazzo

I don't need to say more about this, you know it makes sense.
