These Are All The Characters On "Big Mouth" Next To The Actors Who Voice Them

Who knew Keke Palmer would be so good at playing a worm?!

If you're a cartoon connoisseur, you'll know that Big Mouth is up there in the hall of fame.

The fifth season dropped over the weekend, and it did not disappoint – here are all the new characters and the hilarious actors behind them!

Keke Palmer – Rochelle the Hate Worm

Rochelle enters Missy's life, and "helps" her embrace her hateful side, resulting in some big consequences. Sure, she's hateful, but she has fun with it. If you're like me and can't get enough of Keke, you'll be pleased to know that Rochelle will be a character in Big Mouth's upcoming spin off, Human Resources.

Kristen Schaal – Bernie Sanders

Kristen, AKA Louise from Bob's Burgers, lent her voice to Andrew's main love interest this season. The two hit it off on a ski trip and naturally, hilarious politics-related double entendres ensue. In true holiday romance style, Bernie and Andrew are there for a good time, not a long time. 

Chloe Fineman – Leah Birch

Nick's older sister used to be voiced by Kat Dennings, but a subtle switch has been made. Like a lotttt of the cast, Chloe is an SNL fave, so naturally, she fits right in. Leah's still a minor character, but we see her love life take off with Jay's older brother.

Adam Scott – Mr. Keating

If you're a fan of Parks and Rec, Big Little Lies, or The Good Place, I bet you instantly recognised Adam – how can a cartoon look so much like its voice actor?! Mr. Keating is Bridgeton Middle School's new substitute who swears, calls Shakespeare Billy, and is generally not like other teachers. Yep, he's a ~cool~ teacher. Things start off promising for Mr. K, but when Andrew takes a shining to him, they inevitably go south.

Kumail Nanjiani – himself

Kumail is a hilariously alarming version of himself, there to impart wisdom onto the kids from his YouTube channel. Kumail introduces the gang to No Nut November, inspiring them to try and become masters of their domain. You probably know Kumail best for The Big Sick, and this cameo won't let you forget it.

Brandon Kyle Goodman – Walter the Lovebug

The title is pretty self-explanatory – Walter is assigned to Nick to help him navigate his new adolescent feelings of lurve, and by help I mean wreak immense amounts of havoc. Walter's chaotic but charming, which is good because we'll be seeing more of him in Human Resources.

Pamela Adlon – Sonya the Lovebug

Just like Walter, Sonya arrives to stir up the love pot, and her unexpected subject is Jessi. She means well, but a bug dedicated to fuelling romance and a hormonal teen are a recipe for disaster. Pamela's a bit of a voice acting icon – she's behind Dill Pickles, Bobby from King of the Hill, and Lucky from 101 Dalmatians to name a few, so it makes sense that she'll be in Human Resources too.

Jemaine Clement – Simon Sex

Simon is Maury's best friend, and if you couldn't tell from the pearls-scarf-waistcoat combo, he's pretty refined for a hormone monster. He shows up to help Andrew get in touch with his feelings, and his soft, relaxed tones (which you'll know from Flight of the Conchords) really offset Maury's crude dick jokes.
