33 Products Stressed-Out People Swear By

From a bevy of stressed out people to another.

    1. A multitasking shampoo scalp massager to massage your tense scalp muscles, stimulate blood flow to your hair follicles, and make sure your shampoo gets allll the way to your roots to clarify and remove hard-to-reach buildup. Not only will it give you a delicious *taste* of salon massaging (yes please), but it'll help keep your hair healthy — reviewers say it helps with dandruff, psoriasis, and scalp tenderness.

Emma: I use one of these and WOWZA, it really helps you get extra mileage out of your shampoo. I have a whole lot of hair on my head so sometimes it's a struggle to feel like I've soaped up my whole scalp thoroughly, but this was a very effective way to spread out the suds and really get them to the roots. I was worried it might tangle in my hair, but it was totally fine on that front, too. I've noticed that my hair has been a little less greasy at the roots since I started using it. And I'm echoing a ton of reviewers here when I say it just feels reeeeeally, really nice.

Promising reviews: "One of the best purchases we made last year. Such a small, simple item that supplies so much utility & pleasure. We store more stress in our heads than we realize & this provides a wonderful in-shower massage, plus our scalps & hair are tangibly healthier. Thumbs up." —Bryan Dunn

"I'm seriously mind blown at this product. I never really dealt with a dry scalp until the past year or two, which started due to stress. I bought this on a whim, and after one use, all my dryness/flakes were gone. I seriously couldn't believe it! It is actually very sturdy, so I have easily been able to get through my thick hair to scrub my scalp, and that's saying something because I have a TON of thick hair. If you have dry scalp issues, TRY THIS!!! And even if you don't, I'd still recommend it because it helps you clean your scalp a million times better than just using your hands." —Kayla Goodman

Promising review: "My husband and I like to take regular baths for our muscle aches. And it is just nice after a long stressful day or week to get into the tub. For someone like myself, who is short, my head and legs are not long enough to both lean my head back in the bath tub and also hold myself up from slipping down toward the drain. In other words, my legs are too short to reach the other side of the bathtub, so I cannot lean my head back in our awesome tub to relax. What is the point of taking a bath then? This is what I thought until we bought this awesome bath pillow. It is very comfortable and is not like those old cheap inflatable bath pillows from certain bath stores. This is a permanent fixture in our bathtub and we love it. Ever since we have had this, taking baths has been truly relaxing. I highly recommend this comfortable bath pillow to anyone who wants to improve the quality of their bath time." —Michelle Lynn

I have a high stress job and needed sleep music to help me get to sleep and to stay asleep at night, but since getting this mattress topper I have had no difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep all night. The lavender scent is faint enough not to be overly fragrant and provides a little bit of extra care and love. Highly recommend as a personal treat or a gift for a loved one! It's one of my favorite gifts I've received.

Promising reviews: "Like a warm, comforting hug. I bought this elephant for my mom who has been ill and suffers from dementia. When I received this product my mom had been having a REALLY bad day: screaming, trying to get out of bed, etc. I immediately warmed him up in the microwave and gave it to my mom. Almost immediately my mom calmed down enough to ask if this toy was for her. When I replied 'yes' she cried, nuzzled it, and fell asleep. What a blessing this product is already for my mom...it’s brought her some peace and comfort. It holds the warmth for a long time and is well weighted. So thankful for this product." —Amazon Customer
