3. They're the ones who've got your back,
and are always by your side.
4. They make you laugh that real good laugh,
the one that makes everything alright.
5. They've followed you through life's biggest steps,
been there every time.
6. They're the one to give advice,
that's usually oh-so-wise.
7. Your best friend will tell the truth to you
whereas others would just lie.
8. They'll stop you from making dumb mistakes
when you're convinced Mr. Wrong is Mr. Right.*
9. They are equipped for everything
they are YOUR friend, you see.
10. They know you better than anyone
it's like telepathy.
11. And when someone is mean to you...
they're there to pick you up.
12. They'll defend your honor to the death
They love you just that much.
13. They'll support you through your victories...
you'll be so thankful to have them there.
14. Did I mention that best friends are always beautiful creatures?
15. That you'll love them 'cuz they care?
16. They'll accompany you to sporting events,
17. even explain your humor to the guys*.
18. They'll remind you of your favorite songs...
19. And keep your best memories alive.
20. You need your best friend
21. and they need you, too...
22. And the best gift you can give them is unconditional friendship...
