If you haven't heard of the gender pay gap, here's the deal: On average, men working full-time earn 17.9% more than women who also work full-time.
This latest data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics has been collected by workforce diversity specialist Conrad Liveris and it's pretty confronting, right?
Liveris calculated the gap by looking at "median wages" data, which means comparing how much the average woman takes home compared to the average man. It does not adjust for inflation.
