20 Times Power Rangers Made Us Crush So Hard

My mission of re-watching all seasons of Power Rangers on Netflix led me to discover just how thirst-inducing and heart-stealing these characters (and the actors who played them) really were. Our 90's-crazed, nostalgia-loving souls didn't even know what hit us.

20. Cassie Chan

We kick off this list with the Mulan of the franchise for me, just so friggin' gorgeous. The first ever Asian Pink Ranger, Cassie Chan from Power Rangers In Space (& some of Turbo) left some pretty big shoes to fill. Strong-willed and spunky, this courageous musician turned Angel Grove protector with infectious attitude to spare was definitely too cute to handle.

19. Mike Corbett

Most people tend to fall for the guy next door, while others will prefer the big brother instead. The introduction of Mike from Power Rangers Lost Galaxy gave us one such dilemma, and after getting a closer look at this chivalrous Magna Defender 2.0, (that workout scene, I am telling you) one just couldn't decide which Corbett sibling we liked best.

18. Kat Manx

Dr. Katherine Manx of Power Rangers Space Patrol Delta is our beloved alien genius from the future, constantly renovating all the technology of their S.P.D. base and keeping it a state-of-the-art fighting wonder. She would call the rangers into action as danger's first responder. Then when she became a ranger herself, we saw she had much power and fierceness up her sleeve.

17. Joel Rawlings

Now this here is a fine specimen, y'all. The dashing Sky Cowboy of Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue had to learn a couple lessons before winning over Ms. Fairweather's heart, and when he did it was with a real charm to boot. For me, Joel is one of the more original and endearing characters, the fact he can pilot a mean jet too is but a mere bonus.

16. Vida Rocca

Her name is literally life in Spanish so heck yeah she's on here! With beauty mark, sass, and everything else needed to make her bad-ass, the ever-feisty Vida of Power Rangers Mystic Force honestly looked so good in that corset and cape there was no way any of us couldn't swoon. I for one was totally into her vampire moment too, FYI.

15. Cole Evans

Probably the closest we'll ever get to a Tarzan turned monster fighter, Cole Evans of Power Rangers Wild Force was about as steamy as they come. That is of course until he opened his mouth, nearly everything he said was borderline corny. Yes, I KNOW it's a kids show but come on, his lines? Gag. Then he goes and rips his shirt off, as if that'll make it all okay.

14. Katie Walker

Let me tell you something about Katie Miss Walker-from-the-future, people. Curls? Bomb. Eyes? Mesmerizing. Skin? Flawless. Beauty? Undeniable. Mix all that with a superhuman strength and protectiveness that made you feel so safe in her arms (don't pretend you didn't like it, Trip), the Time Force Yellow Ranger was the complete, no-bullies-allowed package.

13. Angela Fairweather

If Ms. Fairweather were a science teacher, I'd show up to her class. Then I would fail that class, just so I can take it again and have her sass me. Who says you need to be a Ranger to kick monster butt? Ms. F from Lightspeed Rescue designed all the weapons and Megazords. She was independent, smart, and she was in charge. Everything a sexy woman should be.

12. Nick Russell

When I say the Mystic Force Red Ranger was dreamy, I'm talking forehead-warming, wake up sighing, super mc'dreams dreamy. That Lebanese background and green eye combination, coated with a motorcycle-riding, not-such-a-bad-boy persona? Poor Madison was doomed. Then we got a look at both his parents and it made all the sense in the world.

11. Karone

Boy do latex and leather do a body good. Whether it was as the devious Astronema of In Space for you, or when she became the Lost Galaxy Pink Ranger as sweet Karone; its not every character that gets to stick around and entice you for more than one season. Altogether she got even more screen time than her brother, and what a lovely sight she was to see too.

10. Kevin Douglas

Its like Nick studios decided the best way to get back everyone's attention after the dark times of the two-year hiatus was to make everyone hot. Like, really hot. Seriously, every season since Power Rangers Samurai has had tons of hardcore crushing material. And the cherry on top of them all is Kevin. Tall, sensitive, and devoted, kids of today don't stand a chance.

9. Jen Scotts

Does that look like the face of a pushover? Think of this woman as your trainer; she'd work you into shape so hard you'd be left spelling "quitter" with your own sweat after making you do 50 punish push-ups for being late to one session. The Time Force Pink Ranger was more than just a pretty face; she was a leader, and a darn good one at that. Major awakening.

8. Andros

I feel like I may get killed if I don't include Andros. The secret fourth member of Hanson from In Space was equal parts awakening as he was an "oh-gosh-his-mane-is-my-life" kind of reaction. Sporting arguably the best hair in the show's history, combined with his constant confusion of Earth culture, watching Andros was like witnessing deer walk for the first time.

7. Adam Park

Contemplate the sheer virtue of being not one or two rangers, but THREE. Sharing that glory only with Katherine Hillard, Angel Grove heartthrob Adam Park of Power Rangers Zeo also donned the helmets of both Mighty Morphin' and Turbo for some time. This absolute legend has a smile that will make anyone faint, and a fan-fave phrase that melts people hearts.

5. Jason Lee Scott

From Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (& some of Zeo), the first Red and ultimate boss man that started it all, Jason and his ever present man-cleavage was the awakening of many. The sole reason behind my favorite color, and the type of leader we all should aspire to be; one bear hug from those incredible biceps and your legs would immediately turn to jelly.

4. Billy Cranston

Don't even try to pull that "too nerdy" excuse, it won't work. The way our Blue Billy caterpillared his way into the handsome butterfly from season three of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and beyond woke us up, it woke us up REAL good. Who knew that all it took was a few tank tops, some working out, and he'd be getting all of the ladies? (He dated like, 3 different girls!)

3. Leo Corbett

From Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, Red Ranger and leader Leo was/is such a fan favorite. On the long hunt to rescue his tragically lost brother, if it wasn't his green eyes that made you swoon throughout the season, or that glorious jawline you couldn't help but notice whenever he smiled; then your awakening was definitely that one time he ripped open his shirt.

2. Kimberly Ann Hart

If anyone can handle being a powerful teenage girl and rock those ninety's mini shorts, its the Mighty Morphin' Pink Ranger. Kimberly brought first the ultimate balance between kicking butt and staying feminine. She provoked tremendous infatuation onto 90's kids everywhere, and when she came back, with so much sass to spare, we all kind of loved it.

1. Tommy Oliver

"I never liked Tommy." said LITERALLY no one ever. Not only was he one, not only was he two, heck not even three. He was FIVE, five Power Rangers! That's five kick-ass entities, five crush-hards, five times he made all of us bow down to his absolute awesomeness. Mighty Morphin' (twice!), Zeo, Turbo, and Dino Thunder. The one true king of this entire franchise.
