Cook Lemon Spaghetti With The Help Of Some Furry (and Not So Furry) Friends

Brace yourself for an overdose of culinary cuteness

Get to the grocery store and get this stuff:

1 lb Spaghetti

3 tbsp Olive Oil

4 cloves Fresh Garlic

1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes

2 Lemons

1/2 cup Heavy Cream

1 cup Parmigiano Reggiano

First, get that spaghetti cooking

After bringing a large pot of water to a boil, drop the spaghetti in. This will cook while you begin to prepare the sauce. Ultimately, you will want to wait to strain the pasta until it is al dente.

Next, heat up your pan over low heat

Once that bad boy is heated, add olive oil, chopped garlic and red pepper flakes

Squeeze some lemons while the garlic browns.

Note: If you have one handy, employ a Burmese Mountain Dog to help juice, as they are natural lemon squeezers .

Now, add the cream, lemon juice and a ladel of water

Raise the heat of the pan to bring your fledgling lemon sauce to a bubble

Next, add half of your grated cheese to the sauce

If you feel the completely natural urge to add more than half of your Parmigiano Reggiano to the sauce, go with it. A little extra cheese never hurt anything. Ever.

Once you've finished cheesing, add the drained pasta and toss a few times.
