But history is filled with undrafted players that went on to enjoy significant NFL (and fantasy football) success, including guys like Arian Foster and Wes Welker in recent years. Here are twelve guys that didn't hear their names announced during the draft, but who offer some fantasy upside potential for 2014 and beyond.

Most Fantasy owners have moved past the NFL Draft and are now tinkering with their benches while brainstorming ideas to come up with a perfect hilarious fantasy team name. But a true fantasy owner should be paying attention to the players that slipped through the cracks and have a chance to make an impact this season.

After seven rounds and 256 selections in the 2014 NFL Draft, it seems like all of the viable fantasy rookies would have been picked. But history is filled with undrafted players that went on to enjoy significant NFL (and fantasy football) success, including guys like Arian Foster and Wes Welker in recent years. Here are twelve guys that didn't hear their names announced during the draft, but who offer some fantasy upside potential for 2014 and beyond.

Running Back

Isaiah Crowell | Cleveland Browns

Crowell went to Georgia as a five-star recruit and started as a freshman in 2011, but was later dismissed from the team following an arrest on felony weapons charges. He resurfaced at Alabama State in 2013, rushing for 1,121 yards and 15 touchdowns on just 170 carries. While there are obvious red flags for off-the-field issues, Crowell has a nice combination of size (5-11, 224lbs) and speed, and he was productive when on the field in college. The Brown signed Ben Tate in the offseason and drafted Terrance West in the fourth round, but Crowell is a very talented player that could have significant upside potential if he can stay out of trouble.

Antonio Andrews| Tennessee Titans

The Titans drafted Bishop Sankey in the second round to be the team's new feature back, but Andrews is a player to watch, particularly if he challenges Shonn Greene for the primary backup job in Tennessee. The versatile rookie from Western Kentucky set an NCAA record for all-purpose yards over the last two years, accumulating 5,780 yards as a rusher, receiver, and return man. The 5-10, 225-pound Andrews averaged almost six yards per carry across his junior and senior seasons and caught 78 passes over that period. He also scored 30 total touchdowns in his last two years as a Hilltopper.

David Fluellen | Philadelphia Eagles

A two-year starter at Toledo, Fluellen finished his college career with 3,336 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns, along with 80 receptions. While he lacks elite speed, Fluellen showed strong lower-body burst at the NFL combine and he has proven to be a capable between-the-tackles runner at 5-11 and 224 pounds. After trading Bryce Brown and failing to draft a running back, there is an opportunity for Fluellen to carve out a niche for himself in Chip Kelly's high-powered Eagles offense.

Tim Cornett | Arizona Cardinals

Cornett finished his career at UNLV as the school's all-time leading rusher, with 3,733 yards and 35 touchdowns. He is a one-cut runner with an excellent combination of size (6-1, 209lbs) and speed, impressing scouts at the NFL combine with a 4.48 forty time and an explosive broad jump. With little depth behind second-year starter Andre Ellington in Arizona, Cornett has an opportunity to make a name for himself in fantasy circles with the Cardinals.

Kapri Bibbs | Denver Broncos

Bibbs comes to the NFL with just one year of major college football on his resume. But at Colorado State last season, he led the nation in rushing touchdowns with 31 scores, and accumulated 1,741 yards on 281 carries in coach Jim McElwain's pro-style offense. While there is depth in front of him in Denver's backfield, no current Broncos running back has ever started a game in the NFL. Bibbs tough running style and nose for the goal line might be enough to carve out a roll in Denver's record-setting offensive machine.

Wide Receiver

Brandon Coleman | New Orleans Saints

A 6-6 and 225 pounds, it's not surprising that Coleman has a basketball background. But the big receiver used his size and massive catch radius to become Rutgers' career leader in touchdown receptions with 20 trips to the endzone in three seasons. After picking speedster Brandin Cooks in the first round of the draft, the Saints added Coleman to the mix of players that will be vying for the targets left behind by the departures of Lance Moore and Darren Sproles. If he can tighten up his route running and learn to better use his size against NFL defenders, Coleman could be a player to watch in New Orleans, particularly in the red zone.

Cody Hoffman | Washington Redskins

Hoffman was a four-year starter at BYU, finishing his career as the Cougars' all-time leader in receptions (260), yards (3,612), and receiving touchdowns (33). While he's not the best athlete in the world, Hoffman is a plus-sized receiver at 6-4, 223 pounds. He joins a crowded but diminutive receiving corp in Washington, where most of the other wide outs stand 6-0 or shorter. Hoffman might be limited to a possession receiver as a pro, but that could find him a niche on the Redskins' current roster.

Mike Davis | Oakland Raiders

Davis started 38 games for the University of Texas and finished his college career with 200 catches for 2,753 yards and 18 touchdowns. His high-end speed (4.48 in the 40) makes him a vertical threat that could stretch the field at the next level, but he will need to improve his ability to catch the ball cleanly. With the Raiders failing to select a receiver in this year's draft and a group of largely-unproven players ahead of him on the depth chart, Davis has a chance to fight for a spot in Oakland's pass-catching rotation.

Albert Wilson | Kansas City Chiefs

The speedy receiver ran a 4.43 in the 40 at the NFL combine and also impressed with a 37 ½-inch vertical and explosive broad jump. Wilson's measurables have drawn comparisons to players like Randall Cobb and he should get an opportunity to prove himself in a Kansas City receiving corp that is very thin behind Dwayne Bowe. Wilson left George State as the school's all-time leader in receptions (175), receiving yards (3,190), and all-purpose touchdowns (26).

Chandler Jones | Cleveland Browns

With the likely suspension of Josh Gordon for at least a portion of the 2014 season and an otherwise uninspiring group of receivers, Cleveland was one of the ideal landing spots for undrafted free agents with NFL aspirations. Jones had a very productive college career at San Jose State, setting school records for receptions (248) and touchdown catches (29). He's a smaller receiver at 5-9, 180 pounds, but he recorded two 40 times below 4.4 seconds at his Pro Day workout and he was explosive off the line of scrimmage in college. Even if he serves primarily as a slot receiver, Jones could have an opportunity to produce for the Browns.

Tight End

Justin Jones | New England Patriots

Jones is an absolute beast at 6-8 and 277 pounds, but the East Carolina product also boasts a 37.5-inch vertical. The tape on Jones is short, as he came to East Carolina to play for Skip Holtz and ended up in a system that didn't really utilize the tight end. Jones also missed his senior season after he was ruled academically ineligible. But with his incredible blend of size and athleticism, and a potentially Gronk-less Patriots team that would feature Michael Hoomanawanui and D.J. Williams at tight end, there could be a lot of opportunity for Jones to prove himself in New England.

Colt Lyerla | Green Bay Packers

If ever there was a boom-of-bust prospect, it's Colt Lyerla. The former Oregon Duck had a slew of off-the-field issues, including an arrest for cocaine possession in October, to which he later pled guilty. But the five-star high school recruit with off-the-charts athleticism managed 34 catches for 564 yards and 11 touchdowns in an abbreviated college career. He then ran 4.61 in the 40 at the NFL Combine, with a 39-inch vertical. If he can get his life together, Lyerla could be the type of "move" tight end that Aaron Hernandez was before his off-the-field issues ultimately caught up with him, as well.
