5. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

Follow daring Katniss as she volunteers for the Hunger Games to protect her sister. But winning will be hard, and Katniss is confused by what love really means when she meets Peeta, a boy she knows who will have to die if she is to win.

Movie? Yes! There are four movies of this series, The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Mockingjay Part One, and Mockingjay Part Two. The movies star J Law, as Katniss, obviosly; Josh Hutcherson, we all love Josh; and Liam Hemsworth, playing Gale, Katniss's hunting partner.

4. Divergent by Veronica Roth

Beatrice Prior must make a choice. Between family and who she really is. Between safety and joy. She must hide because she is 'Divergent', and she must understand what her relationship with Four, and enchantingly handsome boy, really means. So, she renames herself Tris, and makes a choice that surprises everyone.

Movie? Yes! Starring Shailene Woodley and Theo James, there are four movies. Allegiant is split into two movies, one called Allegiant, and the second is called Ascendant.

3. Reboot by Amy Tintera

Wren was dead for 178 minutes, then she came back to life as a reboot. She is a better version of Wren, with less emotions. She'd make the perfect reboot, if she hadn't fallen in love... You just HAVE to read this fantastic romantic and suspenseful story!

2. The 5th Wave

Cassie wants to rescue her brother, and stay alive. But that's hard with an Alien Invasion in your backyard. So Cassie befriends Evan, in hope to protect her brother. But life is harder than death, and Cassie must learn to be brave.

Movie? It just came out this year! (2016) It stars Chloë Grace Moretz as Cassie, be sure to go to the theater and check it out! (:
