"Big" Is The Most Unrealistic Movie Of All Time

    But really...

If you've never seen the movie Big, you probably should. It's a classic tale about a young boy named Josh Baskin who wishes to be big. He wakes up the next day as a 30 year old man. A very beautiful man played by none other than Tom Hanks.

This fictional tale is full of laughs, fun, and an iconic giant piano scene that will make you want to buy a plane ticket, fly to New York, and go to FAO Schwarz .

While the story line is far from reality, there is one part of the movie that is beyond explanation. I can't even believe they went this far off from actuality.

Our main character, Josh Baskin, decides to apply for a job at a Toy Manufacturer called McMillan. He literally applies for ONE JOB and gets hired.

I'd also like to add that he has no relevant experience, he never attended college, and HE DOESN'T EVEN have a real social security number. WHY DOESN'T THIS CORPORATE COMPANY DO BACKGROUND CHECKS?

It is just irresponsible of the movie. How dare they make young kids think that when they grow up they'll be able to apply for the first job they like, not be qualified, and then get the job right away.

And to add injury to insult, he gets promoted to a VP position after a week. A WEEK GODDAMMIT. HOW? I'd be lucky to get a phone interview after applying to 30 positions.

    T.HANKS for crushing my dreams.
