    WASHINGTON -- Virginia state senator and 2009 gubernatorial candidate Creigh Deeds was stabbed in his home, and his 24-year-old son, Gus, is dead from a gunshot wound. Police responding to a 911 call found the two men early Tuesday morning in Millsboro, Va.
