Why My Mom Is The Best Mom Of All Time

1. She's just as fine as she can be.

2. She knows her way around a kitchen!

Whether it's Thanksgiving, Christmas, or just a regular Sunday, you can expect a hot plate of goodness from this lady's kitchen. She's got recipes up multiple sleeves.

And the Mac 'N' Cheese never disappoints.

3. Oh, and she's book smart, too.

My Mom just graduated from the University of Alabama with an MBA! She worked full-time while she was in school and took care of a family. Nope, no super powers, just plain awesomeness.

4. She's a business-suited power babe.

After being recently promoted to Regional Operations Manager of Otsuka (a pharmaceutical company), I'm pretty sure there's nothing this super woman can't do. She's paving the way for women, black women especially, in Corporate America. You go, girl!

5. She can SANG.

No, not sing. SANG. She's got the pipes, and she's not afraid to use them. God has given her way too many gifts. Good thing she uses them all for His glory.

6. She LOVES Jesus.

Yep! She's unashamed. I nominate Mom for president of the Praying Moms Club. She pours so much into the lives of those around her. If you need a prayer or wise counsel, give her a call.

7. She's an amazing wife.

After celebrating their 22nd wedding anniversary, my parents might know a thing or two about marriage. The love, support, and respect she has for my dad is truly inspiring. *Wipes tears*

8. Her sense of humor is on fleek.

I've never met someone who likes to laugh as much as my Mom. Seriously, just tell a few corny jokes and she'll be rolling for centuries.

9. She's the life of the party.

She's always the silliest one in the silly picture, and I love her for it.

Her initials might as well be F.U.N.

10. She's there for her kids.

Here's to all the nights spent praying over us, helping us study, and never missing a choir concert. Mom, you're something special. Thank you for being you.
