Hackers Infect Orbiting Satellite With Shatner Virus
The Far Polo L1 geostationary satellite has been infected by a virus known as W32/Shatner.
The Shatner virus is embedding subliminal images related to Star Trek into popular TV shows such as "The Simpsons", "Friends" and "Doogie Howser MD". Subliminal images placed into the programs include images of villains the Klingons and William Shatner, with the message: "This is W32/Shatner. All your TV are belong to us".
