So cancer pretty much blows, we all know that. But the road to curing it is getting better and better!
Thanks to the Ride to Conquer Cancer, people all over the country are getting all pseudo-masochistic and preparing to participate in a 150-mile, 2-day bike trip all in the name of fundraising for cancer research and education!
This is an awesome thing, yes? YES! All funds raised go directly to local-area cancer research centers! Yay!!
So why am I telling you this?? Each participant needs to raise AT LEAST $2500 in order to be able to ride!
All of my friends, amazing as they are, can only contribute in small amounts on account of all their student loan payments. A lot of people are encountering this dilemna.
