The ceremony costs around £59.7 million and lasts for more than a week. The sheikh visited every city on horseback and fed millions of people. The wedding gifts for the bride were arrived at the back of 20 bejewelled camels. The couple built a 20,000-seat stadium to seat their guests.

9. Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta-Jones

Douglas and Zeta-Jones' £900,000 million wedding took place at New York's Plaza Hotel, which was decorated with 20,000 cream-colored roses. The guests were entertained by a 40-member Welsh choir and fed from a 10-tier wedding cake.
