As soon as the clock hit 6pm on Friday you headed on down to your nearest pub
And didn't return home until a good seven hours later
You basically spent the whole of Saturday in bed
But got up as soon as your mate mentioned drinking again
You put on your glad rags
Got on the pre-drinks
And headed to town
Where you danced (if that's what you can call it)
And flirted
And made questionable life choices
You're probably banned from Uber now
And the morning after was full of regret
You decided to have a productive Sunday
But exercise didn't agree with you
And left you wanting only one thing
So instead you turned to shopping
Which is basically exercise anyway
Following your productive day you felt you deserved another drink
By now your housemates were starting to judge you
But you didn't care
By Monday morning you realised you'd made a horrible mistake
And suddenly felt as though you hadn't slept for days
You walked into work on Tuesday unsure if you were still drunk or hideously hungover
But you would do it all again next weekend if you had the chance
