DIY Studded Sweater

Studs are like ranch dressing, they can go on anything.

What you'll need:

1. Something to stud. I used an old sweater I had but you can stud shoes or purses using the same method

2. A pack of studs. These can be bought at your local craft store.

3. A pair of flat-nose pliers.

Step 1: Decide on your pattern. My sweater had ripped at the collar so I decided to stud along the edge to bring it back to life.

Step 2: Poke the stud through the object you chose. Note: Most sweaters are thin enough that the stud should just poke through but for thicker objects use a safety pin to poke a hole where the prongs will go through.

Step 3: Using the pliers or your fingers bend the prongs inward so that they are flush against the stud. Place your studs evenly spaced apart.
