This Donkey Is Done With Being Stuck Down This Manhole

    This ass somehow managed to get stuck down an open manhole in the town of Pratteln, near Basel, Switzerland.

    The donkey is seen stuck down the manhole in a handout photo provided by police.

    Fortunately, firefighters were able to save the animal from his predicament after a local resident spotted him.

    The donkey was found in the town's Robinson playground by passer-by Bruno Schneider who - despite finding the 13-year-old ass's situation amusing - realised he "must help him, as soon as possible", according to BZ Basel.

    It is not known why the manhole was left open.
