The first installment of the series is lighthearted and whimsical, perfect to brighten any mood! Some highlights of this movie are the young characters first meeting each other, Harry's arrival to Hogwarts, and the plot of Voldemort to stay alive.

"Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone" (1)

The second movie of the series is slightly darker than the first but still full of daring adventure. Some highlights of this film are the backstory of teenage Tom Riddle, the Gryffindor/Slytherin rivalry in Quidditch matches, and the basilisk fight within the Chamber. If you're looking for an intense fight and a creepy plot, this is the movie for you!

"Chamber of Secrets" (2)

By far the most aesthetically appealing film, the third installment of the series is one of the most memorable. Although Voldemort is nowhere to be found, Sirius Black and Remus Lupin are introduced to the trio. Hermione uses her intelligence to save lives and protect others. This is also the movie with the second-highest amount of Draco scenes. If you want to see artistic filming with a suspenseful plot, this is the movie to watch!

"Prisoner of Azkaban" (3)

The fourth movie is arguably the most adventurous film with dragons, mermaids, and Voldemort's return. Cedric, Fleur, and Krum are introduced, and the trio attends the Yule Ball. Although Ron is unhappy through most of the film, Hermione and Harry have many memorable scenes together. If you're looking for adventure and shocking plot twists, this is the one to watch!

"Goblet of Fire" (4)

Although this film has the least amount of Draco scenes, it dives deeper into the lives of all the characters and introduces many new ones. Dumbledore's Army learns defensive spells, and Harry falls in love with Cho. This is the one to watch if you want to see Hogwarts unity at its finest, and watch all the students grow as characters.

"Order of the Phoenix" (5)

Unfortunately, this is probably the most depressing movie in the series. It has the most amount of Draco scenes out of all the films, and Tom Riddle gets an even more detailed backstory. This is definitely the movie to watch when you're feeling sad or when you want to be emotional with the characters.

"Half-Blood Prince" (6)

It's very hard to make camping exciting which is why this is known as the least-interesting movie of the series. However, the characters grow immensely, and you can see the general mood of suspense throughout the film. The Malfoy Manor torturing at the end of the movie is one of the most intense scenes of the series! If you're patient enough to watch the characters change and see an exciting ending, this is the movie for you!

"Deathly Hallows Pt. 1" (7)

This is the most successful movie in the series and also the most intense! There are battle scenes, transformations, plot twists, and newly discovered backstories that will shock anyone (even if you've seen it before)! The war wages on, and Voldemort finally faces off with Harry in an epic finale. If you want to be on the edge of your seat from the beginning to the end, this is the one for you!
