The second Coen’s Bounty Hunter in the list, Smalls is armed as if he’s ready for the apocalypse and doesn’t seem to care what survives. Cho Sai Fung

Low Blood Sugar? Remote control briefcase of gadgets? Martial Art skill to be reckoned with? That’s Cho Sai Fung for you. Like a few of the Bounty Hunters on this list, looks can be very deceiving. He may not be as stoic as Anton Chigurh or as prepared for the apocalypse as Leonard Smalls, it’s safe to say, with a lollypop in his mouth, Fung is a formidable firecracker.

Rick Deckard

Is he or isn’t he a replicant? Let’s say that he is, and that's more than enough reason to be on this list. Being a replicant is the perfect way for a character like Deckard to do what he does so well. Armed with the polygraph-like Voight-Kampff machine and a blaster, Deckard is part detective, part Jeremy Kyle…mostly robot.

“Rooster” Cogburn

Cogburn is a one eyed, over weight, alcoholic with a constant trigger finger. Cogburn may appear to be a mealy mouth with seeming nothing to give. Yet the film isn’t called True Grit for nothing. Rooster’s stubbornness is why the Deputy Marshall nearly always gets his man. Cogburn may look like a gruff pirate, but he ain’t no drip.
